Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American actress, comedian and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actor as a young person soon after her move to the United States. Her fame was boosted by her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016 and since the year 2020. Commercial appearances weren't her only activity she was involved in. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also part of the cast as Squirrelgirl for Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot series New Warriors. Vayntrub is a Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native and a Jew. At the age of 2 she left together with her parents to U.S. to escape antisemitism. She was able to settle in West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties within the family, she started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. But, she dropped out of her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained the GED. After that she went on to receive the Bachelor of Arts degree in communication from the University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
